Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18 Features Rob Gronkowski, Ronnie Lott
When the next NFL season starts, Rob Gronkowski will be back on the field, this time suiting up with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On Saturday, he arrives as part of Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18 which also features former San Francisco 49ers star Ronnie Lott and Indianapolis Colts right end Dwight Freeney. Here’s all of the details on their new items in Ultimate Team.
Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18: Rob Gronkowski, Ronnie Lott, Dwight Freeney
Each Saturday, EA brings forth a trio of new Ultimate Legends players with their best cards in Ultimate Team this Madden season. For Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski leads the way with a 99 overall item. Gronk’s card includes 97 Spectacular Catch, 97 Catch in Traffic, 96 Catching, 91 Strength, and 90 Speed.
He’s joined by 49ers free safety Ronnie Lott with a 99 Hit Power, 97 Zone Coverage, 96 Pursuit, 96 Acceleration 95 Tackle, and 94 Speed. It’s Lott’s best card since his NFL 100 item. This week’s limited-availability player for packs is Dwight Freeney. The former Colts RE has 99 Finesse Moves, 95 Play Recognition, 95 Acceleration, and 91 Speed.
The three cards above for Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18 are Career Edition and the best in the game. However, each UL player also has five other UL cards and a Power Up. Check out the section below for more details.
Where to get the cards, new challenges
Since Dwight Freeney is this weekend’s LTD card, he’s only available randomly in packs for the next 48 hours. In addition, Freeney is available through the Auction listings beyond that timeframe. As for the Rob Gronkowski and Ronnie Lott cards above they’re available in several ways.
Gamers can put together sets of Gronk and Lott’s five other Ultimate Legends cards that have lower ratings. Those cards would be the player’s 97 OVR, 95 OVR, 91 OVR, 90 OVR, and 89 OVR UL items. Once you’ve got that set, you’ll get the card up above.
To get a Power Up item for Gronk or Lott requires completing their new Ultimate Legends Challenges. Their challenges typically begin in the third quarter of a game and require beating their team. In addition to those two challenges, there are two other challenges.
One will earn a Token for Madden 20 Ultimate Legends Group 18 which is good towards the exchange for a free Career Edition UL player. The other challenge earns a free UL player, of a lower rating which you can Quicksell, auction off, or use towards a UL set.
