The new Madden 20 Ultimate Legends arrived on Saturday and with those great player cards come new missions. Gamers can take advantage of a way to earn a free Career Edition Legends player of their choice. That will make it a cheaper alternative to add a great item to an Ultimate Team roster. Here’s how to earn the free Ultimate Legends player in the Madden 20 game.
Madden 20 Ultimate Legends players bring high costs
We showed off the first group of new Ultimate Legends players recently. It’s quite an impressive group including all-time greats like Calvin Johnson and Brian Urlacher so far. In order to get the players’ Career Edition items, it has a high price. For Madden 20 Ultimate Legends gamers will have to put together a set of five other Legends cards with lower overall ratings.
For the 97 overall players, that means a set consisting of the player’s 87, 88, 89, 93, and 95 OVR Ultimate Legends cards. According to the Madden screens on PS4, that can cost over 300,000 Madden Coins, to buy the Warren Sapp card, for example.
Meanwhile, there are free Ultimate Legends challenges to play for each of the players. Defeating each one will earn that player’s Power Up and some Coins for the effort. You’ll want the Power Up for the Career Edition Legends players you acquire as these allow you to boost them up to a higher level. Read on for how to get a Career Edition Legends card for free, though.
How to earn a free Career Edition Legends player
Within the Madden 20 Ultimate Legends player challenges, there are also a few Ultimate Legend Kickoff Challenges. The objective in these is to use your Madden Ultimate Team to defeat the Ultimate Legends. You can set the difficulty from one star to three stars and earn rewards with a victory.
For beating the challenge on just one-star difficulty, gamers earn an Ultimate Legend Token and 500 Coins. For two Stars, it’s another 500 Coins, and three Stars will earn 700 more Madden Coins.
However, it’s those Ultimate Legend Tokens you want. By collecting sixteen of these, gamers can exchange them for one Madden 20 Ultimate Legends player of their choice. That’s a Career Edition item of the player, and it’s well worth the effort as these are pretty easy to beat on the one-star level.
It appears that there will be more Ultimate Legends on the way, as there are only four Kickoff Challenges for Tokens right now. It’s also mentioned that this will expire on February 19, so don’t hesitate to get these done!
