After weeks of Legends releases, now it’s time to bring on the Madden 20 Ultimate Legends. The new player cards are even better than previous editions with higher ratings across the boards. The first group features eight new Ultimate Legends with big-name players like Brian Urlacher, Calvin Johnson, Troy Polamalu, and Shannon Sharpe. Here are all the details about the new cards available for Ultimate Team fans.
Eight new Madden 20 Ultimate Legends drop
Leading the way for the Madden 20 Ultimate Legends is Megatron with a 96 overall card and this time at his true position. Previously, the Calvin Johnson MUT 10 card featured the longtime Lions wide receiver at the free safety position. Now Johnson’s right where he belongs with a card that includes 97 Jumping, 95 Speed, 95 Spectacular Catch, and 94 Catch in Traffic attributes.
Joining Johnson are three other worthy Legends players. Former Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu gets a 96 OVR while former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Warren Sapp is a 96. The legend Walter Jones comes in with a 97 as well for a nice option at left tackle.

How to get the new player items, new Ultimate challenges
Gamers can acquire Madden 20 Ultimate Legends through sets, Packs, and in the Auction House. Keep in mind that they’ll carry a high price for auction listings based on the high ratings, so make sure to have plenty of Madden Coins available.
To get an Ultimate Legend’s card, as shown above, will require a set of five other lower-rated UL cards for that player. The 96 OVR players require an 86, 87, 88, 92, and 94 OVR Ultimate Legends card. The 97 OVR players require an 87, 88, 89, 93, and 95 OVR Ultimate Legends card.
There are also eight new Ultimate Legends Challenges available with one for each of the players. By defeating a player’s UL Challenge, gamers will earn Coins and a Power Up item for that Legend.
Each week there will be a new Ultimate Legends Kickoff Challenge. Defeating each of these will earn an Ultimate Legends Token along with Madden Coins. Once a gamer has 16 of the Ultimate Legends Token, they can exchange that for one Ultimate Legends player of their choice.
In addition to these new Ultimate Legends, EA also dropped a lot of other new content. That included the new Madden 20 Series 5 Power Ups as well as Theme Diamonds 2 players on Friday.
