Madden 20 Ultimate Team: Andrew Luck M20 Tribute Card Now Available for Retired NFL Star
In shocking news over the weekend, Indianapolis Colts star quarterback Andrew Luck announced he was officially retiring. The news shook Colts fans, fantasy football owners, and sports fans in general. It will also impact the Indianapolis Colts’ roster in the Madden 20 game. However, the Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode now features a special Andrew Luck tribute card for gamers to get.
Madden 20 Ultimate Team releases Andrew Luck M20 Tribute
Luck held a press conference following this past weekend’s Colts’ preseason game against the Bears. He cited the constant cycle of injury and recovery as wearing him down mentally. He stated the best way to escape that cycle was to leave the game behind and retire from the NFL. Here’s a list of the various injuries that hampered Andrew Luck:
The former No. 1 pick out of Stanford played in six seasons officially in the league, as he was out for all of 2017 due to a shoulder injury. For his career, he tallied 23,671 yards and 171 touchdowns thrown on 2,000-of-3,290 completions. Now with his retirement, he’ll leave the Colts in the hands of backup Jacoby Brissett who was the team’s QB in that 2017 season.
In conjunction with this past Saturday’s retirement news, Madden 20 Ultimate Team has revealed the M20 Tribute card for Andrew Luck. It’s a good one too, featuring a 92 overall rating along with a 94 Throw Accuracy Short. In addition, Luck’s M20 Tribute card brings 90s for other key attributes including Throw on the Run, Play Action, and Throw Accuracy Deep. It’s one of many Andrew Luck cards now available in Madden 20 Ultimate Team. Recently, Luck was revealed as part of the Madden 20 Flashbacks program. That particular card was an 87 OVR with Power Up possibilities. Other Luck cards in the game ahead of that included the Core Elite (84), M20 Pre-Order (82), and Power Up (72) cards.
The newest Andrew Luck card in Madden 20 Ultimate Team is only available for a limited time. Based on the release from EA Madden, it’s available in the Store’s Packs until Thursday, August 29 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
