Madden 20 Ultimate Team: Julius Peppers MUT10 Challenge, Player Items Now Available
The Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode is continuing its 10th-anniversary celebration by revealing a new MUT10 player and challenge each Friday. On September 13, they unveiled the fourth player with new player items and a limited MUT 10 Challenge. It’s none other than defensive star Julius Peppers. Here’s a look at what’s available for Peppers in the game and how to get the items.
Julius Peppers MUT10 card in Madden 20 Ultimate Team
The NFL just kicked off its 100th season and Madden 20 kicked off a 10th for their popular Ultimate Team mode. As a tribute for the mode, they’ve unveiled some all-time great players with Bo Jackson leading the way, followed by Patrick Willis and the “cheat code” Michael Vick. Now they’ve got defensive star Julius Peppers as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
The Julius Peppers Madden 20 Ultimate Team 10 card brings a 92 overall rating and plenty of great attributes. Those include 92 Finesse Moves, 88 Acceleration, 87 Strength, 87 Play Recognition, and 84 Speed. If you’re using a Panthers themed MUT squad, he can make a great addition. However, just having a 6-foot-7 menacing defender of his talents on your team is pretty nice.
The Peppers’ MUT 10 card is available for a limited time in packs, typically just a few days. So this one may no longer be there as of Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. However, Peppers will be available at the Auction Browser and currently is there with bids starting at a mere 4.22 million Coins.
Complete a Julius Peppers limited-time Challenge
Along with each player that EA’s Madden 20 adds to MUT10 each week is a limited-time challenge. Gamers can find this by going into Madden 20 Ultimate Team to the “Missions” area and scrolling to find the “Limited Time: The MUT 10” option. Choose this and you’ll get to the new MUT 10 Julius Peppers Challenge.
The objective of the weekly challenges is usually to defeat that player’s team in a full game. You can play it on any difficulty level from one to three stars. There is a bonus star available if you can record six user tackles. Another bonus star is available for getting two or more sacks.
Stars bring coins, but several other star levels bring additional items. You’ll need to achieve one Star to get a Julius Peppers Power Up card, and three Stars to earn a new MUT 10 Collectible Token.
This token is important because you can add it to the MUT10 set. Once you have all 10, you can trade it in for a special reward. So it’s important to take advantage of this free challenge each week and make sure to get all of those collectibles. This limited-time challenge expires at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, Sept. 16.
