EA’s Madden 20 has officially completed their special 10th anniversary promotion for the Ultimate Team mode as they unveiled the last player. On Friday, the tenth and final member of the MUT 10 exchange set was revealed. It’s none other than Pittsburgh Steelers defender Troy Polamalu. Here’s a look at his high-rated new item as well as his challenge in Madden 20 Ultimate Team.
Troy Polamalu gets final Madden 20 Ultimate Team 10 card
Previously, Calvin Johnson joined the Madden 20 Ultimate Team 10 promotion as a free safety. On Friday, October 25, EA revealed that the strong safety is former Madden 10 cover athlete and Pittsburgh Steelers star Troy Polamalu. He’s the “Wildcard” of the MUT 10 set. Polamalu’s new 93 OVR card brings 93 Play Recognition, 92 Pursuit, 92 Acceleration, and 90 Speed along with that sweet Power Up potential.
Troy Polamalu’s new card is available for a limited time. It’s in Packs until Monday, October 28 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Otherwise, it’s available at the Auction Browser. We’ve seen prices ranging from 1.8 million to just under 2.5 million Madden Coins. That’s steep, but some may have the in-game currency to afford it. Otherwise, read on for how to get Polamalu as the final piece in a nice exchange set for a NAT player.
Play Troy Polamalu’s Challenge for his Power Up, final token
A new “Limited Time: The MUT 10” Challenge is live on the “Missions” screen of Ultimate Team. This new challenge will feature Troy Polamalu as part of your defense as you face the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can set the difficult from One Star (Easy) to Two Stars (Medium) to Three Stars (Hard).
All you have to do is win the game on any difficulty level to earn the Troy Polamalu Power Up item and 500 Coins. However, getting three stars will also earn that final Collectible Token you need for the MUT 10 exchange set. You earn one star per difficulty level. There are also bonus goals for bonus stars, so three stars aren’t too hard to get.
Once you’ve got the final Collectible Token you can add it to your set of 10 tokens. You should have one for each of the following players from the MUT 10 promotion:
- Rob Gronkowski
- Bo Jackson
- Calvin Johnson
- Randy Moss
- Julius Peppers
- Troy Polamalu
- Deion Sanders
- Joe Thomas
- Michael Vick
- Patrick Willis
Once you have that MUT 10 set, you get to trade it in for a MUT 10 NAT fantasy pack, so it’s well worth making sure you’ve got this final challenge completed before it expires. That pack lets you choose a NAT version of one of those 10 players on the list for your Madden 20 Ultimate Team roster.
In terms of which NAT MUT 10 player to select, many in the community are leaning towards a specific few players out of the 10 available. They are quarterback Michael Vick, wide receiver Randy Moss, and cornerback Deion Sanders. However, that’s not to say it’s a mistake to take any of the others players should they make a good fit on your Madden 20 Ultimate Team roster.
