Madden 20 Veterans Adrian Peterson, Buster Skrine Now Available for Ultimate Team

The unveiling of a pair of new Madden 20 Veterans arrives on September 20, as EA continues to roll out all sorts of new content for the game. The veterans are players who have been stars in the league for some time and now get upgraded cards for Ultimate Team. The latest pair of players joining the MUT 20 Veterans program are the Washington Redskins’ Adrian Peterson and Chicago Bears’ Buster Skrine.

New Adrian Peterson, Buster Skrine Madden 20 Veterans

First up for the new Madden 20 Veterans is Redskins’ halfback Adrian Peterson. He’s been in the league since 2007 and is a seven-time Pro Bowler. Peterson’s current numbers this season include a touchdown and 25 yards on 10 attempts. However, his career total is over 13,000 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns.

The longtime star of the Vikings gets an 86 OVR card for the Washington Redskins in Veterans. It includes 85 Acceleration, 85 Speed, 84 Agility, and 84 Break Tackle. It’s not a power up card, but still brings a formidable option for Ultimate Team rosters’ ground games.

For the defense, Chicago Bears fans will love to see Buster Skrine here. He’s been in the NFL since 2011, playing for the Cleveland Browns and then New York Jets. This season, he’s already helping his new squad, the Bears, with three solo and two assisted tackles. He also gets an 86 overall item for Madden 20 Veterans. Skrine’s card shows off top attributes including a stellar 91 Agility, 86 Speed, 85 Acceleration, and 83 Play Recognition.

That said, Skrine is just 5-foot-9, and also the cornerback position has some better options out there. That includes one from the Theme Diamonds set which has Bears’ great Charles Tillman. Still, this Skrine card could be a nice upgrade until that Tillman is purchased or earned.

So how do you go about getting Adrian Peterson or Buster Skrine Madden 20 Veterans items? It’s as easy as purchasing Packs for 1,290 Training in the Madden Ultimate Team Store. Additionally, gamers can shop on the Auction Browser to purchase or bid on these items, but they can get pricey, costing hundreds of thousands of Coins or more.

These new Madden 20 Ultimate Team players arrive just after EA released a pair of new Signature players. There’s also a new MUT10 player, which EA typically releases on Fridays. In addition, gamers will be looking forward to this weekend’s new pair of Legends and their challenges to get more options for MUT.
