Madden 20 Veterans: Danny Amendola, Wesley Woodyard Items Available in Ultimate Team
Madden 20 Ultimate Team brings gamers a new pair of veteran players to potentially add to rosters at the start of November. The newest longtime stars of the league to join Madden 20 Veterans are Danny Amendola of the Detroit Lions and Wesley Woodyard of the Tennessee Titans. As with previous MUT releases, we’ve got a look at what to expect from the new cards and what they might cost.
Danny Amendola & Wesley Woodyard join Madden 20 Veterans
Just a day after we learned of the new Madden 20 Signature Series 3 details, there is more MUT content to digest. The popular Madden 20 Veterans are players with a relatively productive and lengthy career in the league still going at it today.
Wide receiver Danny Amendola has played for several teams during a nice 11-year career including a five-year stint with the New England Patriots. As one might expect, Amendola racked up the most productive numbers of his career playing with Brady. With the Patriots, he amassed 2,383 yards and 12 touchdown passes, per Pro-Football-Reference. In addition to the Pats, he played his first four years with the St. Louis Rams, and one season with the Miami Dolphins.
He currently stars for Detroit under former Patriots’ defensive coach turned Lions head coach Matt Patricia. Gamers will now find a new 88 overall card available for Amendoa in Ultimate Team. That card may not have an ideal speed for a wide receiver, though at 81. However, he has a 90 Catching, 86 Short Route Run, and 85 Spectacular Catch.
He’s joined by Tennessee Titans middle linebacker Wesley Woodyard who also gets a new 88 OVR Madden 20 Veterans card. Woodyard’s item features 93 Tackle, 91 Play Recognition, 88 Block Shedding, and 85 Acceleration. Lack of a Power Up symbol on his card and Amendola’s may also disappoint gamers, but pulling them from a pack can still give options for the roster or sales.
How to get the new Amendola, Woodyard MUT items
As with previous Madden 20 Veterans, these will become available through the Ultimate Team Store packs. Veterans packs current cost 2,000 Madden Training currency and bring one random veterans player inside. So for those who have the Training to spare and want to gamble that’s one way to go.
Another option is the Auction Browser. However, the cards can carry high prices depending on the player, and how good the card is. Here’s a look at some of the Danny Amendola Veterans auction prices on PlayStation 4.
As of this report, the Wesley Woodyard auction prices were slightly higher than Amendola’s. We saw a starting price on PS4 auctions around 75,000 Madden Coins. Some gamers may want these cards immediately, or may be better off waiting. As more cards become available, undercutters may move in or sellers might lower overall prices.
