A good bit of new Madden Ultimate Team content will arrive in the coming day or so, starting with two new Veterans players. On Friday morning, EA revealed new in-game items for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Josh McCown and Baltimore Ravens’ Pernell McPhee. Both players now have upgraded cards for MUT rosters. Here are more details about the newest Madden 20 Veterans players.
New Madden 20 Veterans items for Josh McCown, Pernell McPhee
The latest episode of “Good Morning Madden” went live on Friday morning via Twitch live stream to reveal the newest player cards. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Josh McCown is the first of the new Madden 20 Veterans. He brings an 87 overall card complete with 90 Throw Accuracy Short, 86 Play Action, 84 Throw Accuracy Mid, and 83 Throw Under Pressure.
On the defensive side, former Baltimore Ravens right outside linebacker Pernell McPhee gets an 87 OVR as well. McPhee began his career with Baltimore and despite a three-year stint with the Bears and a season in Washington D.C., he’s back on the Ravens at age 31. His career includes 33 sacks and 152 solo tackles, per Football-Reference.
The 6-foot-3 defensive veteran’s MUT card has an 88 Strength, 84 Tackle, 84 Power Moves amongst key attributes. Here’s a look at the complete card which also brings that Baltimore Ravens’ chemistry with it.
Both players’ Madden 20 Veterans cards are now available within the Ultimate Team Store. Gamers can purchase the Madden 20 Veterans Packs for Training to try to score either player randomly, or purchase the individual players using a lot of Coins in Madden.
We’re also awaiting a brand new Madden Ultimate Team 10th anniversary player reveal on Friday. Whoever is announced will join previously revealed MUT 10 players including Bo Jackson, Michael Vick, and Patrick Willis. Saturday should bring a pair of new Madden Legends into Ultimate Team as well.
