Friday, November 15 means it’s just a few days until there are more NFL games to enjoy. It also means brand new Madden 20 Veterans players. On Friday, EA revealed that D.J. Swearinger and Darren Sproles will join the Ultimate Team program with high-rated cards. Here’s the latest on their brand new items and costs to try to get them on your MUT roster.
Swearinger, Sproles get new Madden 20 Veterans items
On weekday mornings, EA Madden Twitch goes live to present brand new Ultimate Team content. Friday’s new MUT content featured Madden 20 Veterans which are players who’ve enjoyed a productive career in the league over a number of seasons. The latest to join the MUT program are Cardinals strong safety D.J. Swearinger and Eagles halfback Darren Sproles.
Both players receive 88 overall ratings on their new upgraded cards. The Swearinger item features 93 Hit Power, 89 Play Recognition, 88 Acceleration, and 85 Zone Coverage. Sproles’ new card includes key attributes such as 91 Agility, 88 Acceleration, 85 Speed, and 83 Carrying. Neither of these cards involves a Power Up option, though.
Upon first look, these two player items probably aren’t going to be all that popular, unless MUT gamers are using an Eagles or Cardinals team. There are plenty of other good options out there at their positions. That said, those who are able to spend the in-game currency on packs and get Sproles or Swearinger could sell on the Auction Browser.
Madden 20 Heavyweights packs are available for 2,000 Training currency through the Ultimate Team Store. Each pack brings one 88-or-better overall Veterans player but it’s random, so there’s no guarantee which player it’ll be.
As far as auctions go, there were just a few for Darren Sproles on PS4 as of this report. However, prices for starting bids and buy now were in the range of 132,000 to 150,000 Madden Coins. There were more auctions running for Swearinger on PS4 as seven were going as of this report. Prices were between 69,000 and 87,000 Coins.
