In Madden 21 passing, you have plenty of available options when it comes to how you throw the ball to receivers. Depending on the type of quarterback you have, you may also have Superstar and X-Factor abilities available. In this guide, we’re going to look at three different passes with how to throw the lob, bullet, or touch pass in Madden 21.
Madden 21 Passing: How to Lob, Bullet, and Touch Pass
With the lob, bullet, and touch pass, you’ll be able to hit receivers with throws in specific situations. For example, certain receivers have more jumping ability or height compared to others. So throwing a lob pass over the top of outstretched defenders can work well for that receiver. Or it may be ideal to use with specific quarterbacks, such as Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.
Here’s how to throw the lob, the bullet, and the touch pass in Madden 21.
How To throw a Lob Pass
The lob in Madden 21 passing basically is just as it sounds, a lob over the heads over the defenders and hopefully into your receiver’s arms for a nice gain.
To throw the lob pass, quickly tap on the button of the receiver you want to throw to.
How to Throw a Bullet Pass
A bullet pass is that strong and steady strike towards your receiver. To perform the bullet pass, hold down the button of the receiver you want to throw to.
How to Throw a Touch Pass
The touch pass in Madden 21 takes a bit more getting used to and may involve practicing in Exhibition mode. It’s generally a slight hold with quick release and somewhere in between the way you perform a lob or bullet pass.
To throw a touch pass press and release the button for the receiver you want to throw to. It may seem easy, but you’ll need to make sure you’re not quickly tapping for a lob, or pressing too long for the bullet.
You can combine these with other Madden 21 passing options. Check out our guide for how to throw low or high passes in Madden 21.
