The Madden 21 soundtrack was reportedly leaked weeks ago, but as of Friday, the official playlist has been revealed. This one features all-new music from artists created exclusively for the football simulation game. Amongst the contributors are Jack Harlow, anderson .Paak, Big K.R.I.T., Denzel Curry, and Rick Ross. Here’s a look at what the new game’s soundtrack brings to the field.
New Madden 21 soundtrack brings all-new songs
On Friday (Aug. 14), EA posted the 18-song Madden 21 soundtrack on social media, featuring all-new music from a plethora of artists. Among the songs, gamers will recognize two in particular, since they’ve been featured in previous Madden 21 trailers. The most recent is blackbear’s lil bit, which we saw in yesterday’s new trailer for The Yard mode.
The other recognizable track is from rapper Jack Harlow. His song Automatic was featured as the drum-heavy hip-hop track in the official game reveal trailer that came out weeks ago.
A number of other popular hip-hop stars are part of the new playlist. That includes the opening banger CUT ME IN by Anderson .Paak featuring Rick Ross, and a new song called Lemonade from Yungblud and Denzel Curry that closes out the playlist.
As with last year’s soundtrack, the new Madden 21 songs are mostly from hip-hop artists. American rock band The Killers are one of the few artists to appear from a different genre.
The soundtrack also features newer artists that many listeners may not be familiar with. Tokyo’s Revenge is a rapper who went from being homeless to having a viral hit, and now being part of EA’s Madden 21. Blacc Zacc is another of the newer artists, who is reportedly looking to put South Carolina on the map for hip-hop.
As mentioned, a different list of songs leaked weeks ago with many believing that would be the Madden soundtrack. Those were part of a dream playlist that cover star Lamar Jackson assembled, but ultimately EA went with the all-new tracks shown above.
