With Most Feared having come and gone for the Halloween season, EA Madden’s Ultimate Team shifts to the next holiday promotion. The Madden 22 Thanksgiving Promo, also known as Harvest, has its first player cards revealed ahead of their drop. Among them will be defensive superstar Chase Young and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. These players and more will have upgraded cards coming for the MUT promo.
Young, Suh, and Sanders revealed for Madden 22 Thanksgiving promo
We shit from Most Feared to the Madden 22 Thanksgiving promotion, Harvest 1. Details arrived during Good Morning Madden on Twitch, and @EASPORTS_MUT Twitter. Player cards for the promo will range in ratings from 84 OVR Elites up to a 94 OVR Champion player.r
They include Washington Football Team’s Chase Young as the Champion. The WFT right end is a Speed Rusher archetype with a 94 overall rating. Top attributes for this new item include 94 Tackling, 94 Finesse Moves, 93 Block Shedding, 92 Acceleration, 87 Strength, and 87 Speed.
Joining Young are the two Turkey Bowl Leaders for Harvest 1. For the NFC it’s Ndamukong Suh, who has a Run Stopper archetype and 92 OVR. Suh’s upgraded item has 93 Strength, 92 Block Shed, 92 Play Recognition, and 91 Tackling. His card also allows for all NFC chemistries.
For the AFC, it’s Bills receiver, Emmanuel Sanders, with a Deep Threat archetype. His new card features 92 Deep Route Running, 91 Catching, 90 Speed, and 90 Spectacular Catch. Sanders can be used with any AFC chemistry in MUT.
Two more Champions and an LTD player card will get revealed on @EASPORTS_MUT on Thursday (Nov. 11) night.
Gameday All-Stars’ cards can upgrade on Thanksgiving
Certain players from the Harvest release are playing in real NFL games on Thanksgiving. These player cards get +1 OVR boosts if the player or their team achieves certain stats in their Thanksgiving games.
Dak Prescott is amongst the 91 OVR Gameday All-Stars for the Madden 22 Thanksgiving promo. Dak’s card features the Improviser archetype and includes 91 Throw Under Pressure, 91 Run, 90 Deep Accuracy, and 90 Short Accuracy. Other Gameday All-Stars are Eddie Jackson (Bears), T.J. Hockenson (Lions), and Hunter Renfrow (Raiders).
For Eddie Jackson, if the Bears hold their opponent to under 350 yards offense, Jackson gets a +1 OVR. If he records an interception in the game, he can also get +1 OVR. So Jackson can go up to 93 OVR.
Hockenson’s objectives include him catching three passes and/or scoring two touchdowns. For Renfrow, he needs 50 receiving yards, or score two touchdowns. Dak needs to pass for 400 yards and/or score a touchdown. Each one of these is worth a +1 OVR boost, with the players able to get to 93 OVR max.
For Malcolm Jenkins, the Saints need to hold their opponent under 425 yards and/or Jenkins needs an interception. Lastly, Tremaine Edmunds needs to get six tackles and/or the Bills to force a turnover.
Other Harvest 1 players include Cousins, Moore
Starting quarterbacks Kick Cousins for the Minnesota Vikings receives a card in the release. Cousins will be one of the Heroes in the release with a 92 OVR. His card includes 94 Pass Accuracy, 92 Throw Power, 92 Run, 92 Deep Accuracy, and 92 Throw Under Pressure.
He’s joined by Indianapolis Colts CB Kenny Moore. With Moore’s 92 OVR card, gamers get key attributes at the position including 94 Jumping, 93 Acceleration, 92 Zone Coverage, and 91 Speed.
There will also be lower-rated cards including the Harvest series 1 Elites which include cards as low as 84 OVR.
The Harvest 1 player items release into the game’s Ultimate Team mode on Friday, November 12. In addition to the player cards, there will be new challenges, Solo Battles, and other content arriving for the promotion.
