The NFL’s Week 6 wraps up with the Buffalo Bills battling the Tennessee Titans in Monday Night Football. That will potentially add a player or two for Madden’s Team of the Week. Ahead of the MNF game, we’ve seen the reveal of Madden 22 TOTW 6 players. They include this week’s Limited (TLD) player, along with Heroes and Player of the Week.
Madden 22 TOTW 6 players: LTD, Heroes, POTW
Each week during NFL season, Madden Ultimate Team reveals their Team of the Week. In past years, this consisted of the best active players from games that week. More recently, they’ve added Offensive and Defensive Heroes who did great in previous years. There’s also a Player of the Week from this past week’s games who had an exceptional performance.
For Madden 22 TOTW 6 players, that Player of the Week is the Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor. The Colts’ back was part of Indy’s 31-3 win over the Texans with his 145 rushing and 13 receiving yards, along with two touchdowns. With that, his POTW card features a 92 OVR including 91 Speed, 91 Change of Direction, 91 Break Tackle, and 91 Agility attributes.
Also pictured above are this week’s LTD, and Heroes player cards. For the LTD, gamers can find former Panthers DT Vernon Butler Jr. in packs. His card arrives after a strong performance in a 2019 game where he recorded two tackles, two sacks, and two forced fumbles. Butler’s card is a 93 OVR with 93 Tackling, 92 Strength, and 92 Power Moves.
The Offensive Hero is tight end, Vernon Davis. The former 49ers star gets a 92 OVR card. Davis also has 92 Catch in Traffic, 92 Medium Route Running, 91 Spectacular Catch, and 90 Speed.
Last but not least is former Lions cornerback Lem Barney. In his game with Detroit in November of 1967, Barney recorded an interception and a TD. His new card brings 92 Speed, 92 Man Coverage, 91 Play Recognition, and 93 Agility ratings.
Who else is part of Team of the Week for MUT?
We’ll see more of the Madden 22 TOTW 6 players revealed during Good Morning Madden. The show typically arrives live on Twitch each morning around 10 a.m. Eastern Time or so. During that time, they’ll go over all the other players including the Elites for Team of the Week.
Other potential TOTW 6 players to watch for on offense include the Vikings’ Dalvin Cook and the Browns’ Donovan Peoples-Jones. For defense, TJ Watt came up big in the Steelers’ game, while Taylor App and Maxx Crosby also seem to be candidates for cards. A case could even be made for Dallas’ Trevon Diggs to be included after his five solo tackles, and an INT for a TD.
Team of the Week cards typically go live in the game on Tuesday afternoons following the full announcement of players. Once they do, gamers will find them inside packs or at Madden’s Auction House. LTD cards typically have a small window of time in which they’re inside the packs.
Many gamers are already pointing out a potential snub with this week’s Player of the Week. Dak Prescott went off in his game against the New England Patriots with 445 yards passing and three touchdowns thrown, including an OT winner.
Dak’s WR Cee Dee Lamb seemed like another worthy candidate with his nine receptions, 149 receiving yards, and two TDs. It’s always possible these guys will get other new cards soon, as MUT’s Most Feared promotion continues.
