With EA’s Madden 22 arriving three days early for select pre-order editions, many gamers will be eager to dive into their favorite modes. That will certainly include Madden 22 Ultimate Team, where the goal is to build a dream squad and upgrade players through the season. Ahead of the game’s early release, EA’s Madden has unveiled some helpful hints for gamers in the form of the top offensive and defensive budget players.
Top offensive budget players for Madden 22 Ultimate Team
Heading into Madden 22 Ultimate Team, gamers will want to make sure they’ve optimized their squads. It’s important not to stretch that bankroll too thin early on. Therefore, a look at the top offensive budget players has come hours before the game’s early release.
Among the players revealed include Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields. His attributes include 82 Speed, 85 Throw Power, 68 Deep Accuracy, 67 Short Accuracy, and 65 Play Action.
Another quarterback is featured with the Chargers’ Justin Herbert. He gets 75 Speed, 86 Throw Power, 75 Short Accuracy, and 74 Throw Under Pressure.
In terms of players to toss that pigskin too, rookie Kyle Pitts is on the budget list. The Falcons’ tight end has a blazing fast 88 Speed early in MUT. He also gets 82 Jumping, 70 Deep Route Running, 69 Spectacular Catch, and 68 Catching.
For those who played Madden 21’s Ultimate Team, the Rookie Premiere program may come in clutch as it will provide options to take Fields and Pitts as selections. Otherwise, it’s a matter of spending some Madden Coins.
Top defensive budget players in MUT 22 include Barr, Simmons
What about over on the defensive side? It’s a good idea to keep the squad balanced early or else things could get ugly. Therefore some of these top-budget defensive players may be good to pick up.
EA’s Madden 22 Ultimate Team will have several linebackers to look at with 85 or 86 Speed ratings. One of them is the Ravens’ Odafe Oweh with 85 Acceleration, 75 Strength, 69 Tackling, and 65 Power Moves. The other is the Arizona Cardinals’ Isaiah Simmons. His speed is a point higher than Oweh along with 86 Acceleration, 78 Pursuit, 76 Power, and 73 Tackling.
Yet another fast linebacker to look at is the Cowboys’ Micah Parsons. He has 85 Speed, 84 Acceleration, 75 Tackling, and 75 Power. Free safety Jeremy Chinn of the Panthers also gets 86 Speed on the budget list. A 76 Pursuit, 73 Power, 73 Play Recognition, and 72 Zone Coverage are also on this early MUT card.
