The Madden NFL 21 Club Championship officially gets started on Thursday, January 21, as teams battle it out to advance. There’s a total of $750,000 in the prize pool, but only one player will walk away with the title of champion. Here’s a look at the upcoming schedule for the Final 32 teams competing in this latest Madden competitive event.
Madden NFL 21 Club Championship schedule arrives with trailer
On January 19, EA released a Madden NFL 21 Club Championship schedule inside of a trailer for the upcoming tournament. All 32 NFL teams will be represented here, with only one ultimately coming out on top. They’ll begin with AFC matchups on Thursday night, streaming online. By the end of the evening, the field will have been whittled down just a bit, ahead of more AFC matchups on Friday evening.
Since there are 32 teams, that means one Madden pro gamer represents each NFL squad. Amongst the top competitors to keep an eye on will be well-known Madden stars such as Pavan Lakhat (Raiders), Drini Gjoka (Jaguars), and Brito “Joke” Raidel (Browns).
The latest Madden tournament arrives just days after Northeastern’s Jacob Wallack won the first-ever collegiate Madden title by defeating Maryland’s Noah Johnson. Wallack won himself a trophy along with $25,000 in prize money for his victory.
Both competitors will also be a part of the Madden NFL 21 Club Championship field. Johnson will represent the AFC’s New England Patriots, while Wallack represents the Detroit Lions in the NFC.
Viewers will also see familiar faces including Daniel “Dcroft” Mycroft, Christian “Chritobin” Lomenzo, and Henry Leverette. Check out the entire field, at EA’s Madden website.
