Madison Bumgarner and Robinson Cano are arguably two of the best players to hit the field over the past decade. Now, these two studs will go head-to-head in the latest MLB The Show 19 challenge!
Madison Bumgarner still one of the best
When you are as good as Madison Bumgarner has been it comes with a price. Bumgarner was a huge part of the Giants World Series championships over the past decade. In fact, it isn’t an understatement to say he was one of the best in the game from 2012-2016. While he has had a bit of a slide the past two seasons, Madison Bumgarner is far from through winning games at the ripe old age of 29.

After a sluggish start, Bumgarner has been much better in his last seven outings. With a 2-1 record and an ERA of 3.83, Mad Bum is showing he has plenty left in the tank. The 4-time All-Star has struck out 44 batters in his last 42 innings.
Robinson Cano rebounding
Like Madison Bumgarner, Robinson Cano is building a Hall of Fame resume. With 314 career home runs and a career batting average of .303, Cano should be on his way to Cooperstown when he calls it a career.
That being said, 2019 hasn’t been the best for Cano. Injuries have limited Cano’s time on the field so far this season. However, he has returned to the everyday lineup for the Mets and is starting to get his groove back.
Don’t let the rough starts to 2019 fool you. Madison Bumgarner and Robinson Cano will both get hot – and on MLB The Show’s weekly challenge, they will both be at 100-percent!
When playing this week’s challenge, gamers will be hitting as Cano facing the CPU version of Madison Bumgarner.
