Fortnite Season 7 event is almost ready to go live! The big season-ending event is scheduled for Sunday, September 12. The event starts at 4 PM Eastern Time and it will be a unique experience for all Fortnite Battle Royale players. Epic Games has set the bar very high with live events, which is why players are expecting big things.
With one day left until the event, players can already find out what will happen during it. Major event spoilers have been leaked, so proceed with caution. If you don’t want the event to be spoiled for you, please stop reading at this point.
Fortnite Season 7 event is going to be destructive
Egyptian_Leaker has shared some major Season 7 live event spoilers on Twitter. This leaker has shared the aftermath of the event, revealing what will be happening during it. It turns out that Epic Games has already hinted at the destruction of a couple of places, which is what the leaker has confirmed.
During the event, Misty Meadows and Dirty Docks are going to be destroyed. These two places, along with Pleasant Park, are included in a Legendary challenge where players are asked to place warning signs. “The crash will cause collateral damage. But let’s try to limit it, shall we? We need as many able-bodied fighters as possible if things get ugly,” is the description of this challenge.
To complete the challenge, players have to place four warning signs in either of the aforementioned locations. It appears that Pleasant Park will not be destroyed, but that has not been confirmed yet. We will have to wait for the event to see how big the destruction is going to be.
Map changes in Season 8
Both Misty Meadows and Dirty Docks have been on the map for nearly two years. These two places were released with the new Chapter 2 map back in October 2019. Throughout their existence, they haven’t gotten many changes and still look almost identical to their original versions.
Many players complain about map changes in Chapter 2. They believe that too many of these changes are focused on the center of the map. Hopefully, Epic Games will do something about other places and removing Misty Meadows and Dirty Docks seems like the right move.
