Man Arrested For Threatening To Shoot 11-Year-Old After Fortnite Loss

Recently, a 45-year-old man threatened to shoot a younger player after a Fortnite loss. The man has been arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated assault, according to NBC New York.
Fortnite loss leads to arrest
Michael Aliperti from Long Island, New York, is the man who got arrested. This Fortnite Battle Royale player allegedly threatened to shoot an 11-year old after a loss. Beside the second-degree assault charge, Aliperti’s charges also include “acting in a manner to injure a child.”
The 45-year-old Fortnite player reportedly sent threatening messages through Xbox. These messages included the threat to shoot the 11-year-old boy and were sent after a loss in the game. However, what makes this situation even worse is the report that Aliperti may have mentioned the boy’s school.
At the moment, it is unknown what will happen with Michael Aliperti. He may end up avoiding conviction, but considering what he did, it is very unlikely that this will happen.
Fortnite has been causing a lot of issues ever since it became extremely popular earlier this year. Recently, there have been reports that the video game has caused numerous divorces. Considering that the game has been gaining even more players in the last few months, it is very unlikely that these problems will stop soon.
