One of the most excitement announcements in March came in the form of the announcement of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC. With that said, it was later revealed by 343 Industries that the release will actually be scaled. As such, many people thought that the trilogy would be fully available at a much later date.
However, it seems like 343 Industries had another plan in mind. In fact, they seem to have the plan of releasing the full game before 2019 ends. In other words, the games might be releasing way sooner than players thought.
343 Aims to Release Master Chief Collection Throughout 2019
Splash Damage, the studio helping on the Master Chief Collection port, made the first announcement. They posted a message on an e-mail newsletter (via ResetEra) where they talk about the supposed release schedule. Apparently, the first game to be released will be Halo: Reach while the rest of the games will come throughout the year.
However, the concrete release date of the game wasn’t given as of yet. In fact, none of the games in the Master Chief Collection had a release date at any point. However, it seems like players will not have to wait that long for each game’s release. 343 Industries intends to release the Master Chief Collection in full before 2019 ends.
Now, this isn’t an exact confirmation about the game’s release. In fact, this could only be a tempting release schedule for 343 Industries. However, there could also be delays in the game’s release cycle or even a delay between game releases. Regardless, this announcement is definitely a pleasant surprise for the rest of the community.
