Capcom is releasing a Mega Man 11 demo next month for Xbox One. Players will get a chance to check out the highly anticipated next entry in the beloved action-platforming series when the demo arrives on September 4, 2018. This is almost a whole month ahead of its official release on October 2 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
This reveal was leaked earlier today by the Xbox Store and picked up by TrueAchievements. It is currently unknown if the Mega Man 11 demo for Xbox One will be coming to the other three platforms or not, as an official announcement from Capcom has yet to be given. We do know, however, what will be included in the free demo thanks to the description.
Players will be able to take on the Block Man stage in the game and check out what enemies and secrets it contains. In addition, you will be able to check out the new Double Gear system that allows the player to slow time down for strategy or even make their attacks more powerful. This will be a huge help in taking down Block Man.
The Mega Man 11 demo for Xbox One is a smart move for Capcom. This will give players a chance to see how the game runs compared to previous titles in the series and build hype for its upcoming release. It will also give an opportunity to convince those skeptical of its art style or speed before the game comes out almost a month later.
Xbox One users will have a chance to return to the Blue Bomber’s shoes once again when the Mega Man 11 demo releases on September 4. Keep an eye here on VGR for an official announcement from Capcom to see if the demo will also be releasing on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC.
