The Metro Exodus Full Strength trophy is one of the harder trophies to get in the game. To earn it, you need to complete three specific objectives; you need to avoid Duke’s possible death, you need to ensure that Damir stays with the group, and you need to make sure that Alyosha doesn’t get wounded. Each of these objectives can be difficult to complete. The first, saving Duke, takes place in the game’s first open-world area; Volga.
Metro Exodus Full Strength Objective #1: How to Keep Duke Alive
When you first arrive in Volga, you’ll take a boat to the local church where Silantius is preaching to his cult. After rowing into a trap, you’ll meet Katya and then escape back into the church. This is where you need to start being careful. To keep Duke alive, you need to make sure that you don’t kill any members of Silantius’ cult. Either run directly through the church to the boat on the dock, or use stealth to avoid the guards. If you must remove anyone from your path, make sure that you only knock them out. Killing even one cultist will cause Duke to die later in the story.
Note that killing bandits around Volga doesn’t jeopardise the trophy, only members of the cult. After you pass through the flooded train depot, recover the railcar, and then retrieve a passenger car from a bandit camp, you will then need to steal a boat from the cult. Once again, you must complete this section without killing a single cultist. Use stealth, run if you need to, and only knock people out.
The last section which you need to complete peacefully is the cult base at the bridge; the final area in Volga. As before, use stealth to get through this area without killing any of the cultists. Taking on this area at night will make the stealth route much easier. Of course, the same applies to the earlier areas as well. When you reach the final room of the bridge camp, you and Duke will encounter Silantius. If you successfully completed Volga without killing any of his cultists, Silantius will agree to let you pass and will order his men not to shoot as the train passes through. If you killed even one cultist, this sequence will play out differently and Duke will be shot as he jumps onto the Aurora.
With Duke alive, the second part of the Metro Exodus Full Strength trophy takes place in the Caspian region.
