Microsoft made a blog post discussing accessories for Xbox Series X/S. The post included a large image at the top that showed all three colors for the controllers, including the new Shock Blue. True to its name, it is a deep, vibrant blue that immediately catches the eye, making a bold statement.

The company writes, “First up is our new Xbox Wireless Controller in Shock Blue – a vibrant new hue, not yet seen on any of our previous controllers. The striking blue top case is accented by the bold, black hybrid D-pad and ABXY buttons and softened by the crisp, white back case for an eye-catching look. Just like the new Xbox Wireless controllers in Carbon Black and Robot White, our new Shock Blue is optimized for next-gen game play.”

The post includes additional information about the controllers, and also talks about Xbox Design Lab. Microsoft says, “Beginning October 14, Xbox Design Lab will be going offline temporarily so that we can bring you some updates, returning in 2021.” Because of this interruption, Microsoft advises placing holiday Design Lab orders prior to October 13th.

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be releasing on November 10th. Find out more about the differences between the two next gen Microsoft consoles. Be sure and check back in with us again soon for more updates about Xbox Series X/S, games and accessories.
