Microsoft officially announced the Xbox E3 2019 press conference schedule this morning. Though it is as we expected, we now know for sure that the media briefing will be taking place on June 9, 2019 at 1 pm PT (4 pm ET). The conference will be held in the Microsoft Theater that is in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
The dates for the Xbox E3 2019 press conference is no surprise as Microsoft has held its media briefing on the Sunday before E3 for the last several years now. But with Sony backing out of E3 this year, it is good to have some confirmation. The media briefing will be just steps away from the Los Angeles Convention Center where E3 is held each year.
That isn’t all, though. Similar to the Nintendo Treehouse, Microsoft will also be holding an Inside Xbox livestream the following day on Monday, June 10, 2019. As of right now, we have no concrete details on what will be shown off at the Xbox E3 2019 press conference or in the livestream. However, we can certainly expect the likes of Halo Infinite, Gears of War 5, and much more.
In addition, with the first real news about the PlayStation 5 this morning, we fully suspect that Microsoft will take this E3 to unveil the next generation Xbox hardware. With no other next generation competition currently set at E3, it will have command of nearly all next-gen conversation at E3 this year.
We also expect there to be new announcements regarding studio acquisitions and game reveals. There is sure to be a deep dive into games we already know about and, perhaps, the long-awaited unveiling of Fable 4. There is even the possibility that we may hear more about Microsoft’s increasing partnership with Nintendo there. For more, stay tuned as we near the start of E3 2019.
