Is Bryce Harper preparing for a trip to Mordor? Or getting ready to try out for an upcoming spot on Game of Thrones? Neither! Harper is prepping for a trip across the MLB The Show 19 Conquest mode, which in many ways is just as challenging.
Harper ready for action
The latest MLB The Show 19 Bryce Harper video doesn’t show the slugger making a great play in the field or smashing a home run. It starts off more like a trailer for a deep dark trailer movie that has yet to hit theaters.

Harper exclaims “We’ll march North, and salt the earth!…and erase our enemies from history, forever!”
The tension pretty much ends there when one of Harper’s teammates questions all the hype. So why all the drama? Simple. This is the way Harper gets when he prepares to play “conquest mode” on MLB The Show.
If you aren’t familiar with how conquest mode works, it is simple. Conquest Mode in MLB The Show lets you battle across the country with your own elite roster. Okay, that isn’t the half of it, but for those of you familiar with MLB The Show you will notice a few changes to conquest mode in 2019.
MLB The Show 19 new feature
This season you can explore new territories with conquest challenges. Not only can you conquer these territories and stake your own claim, (as Harper tells us) but you will also collect rewards along the way.
The rewards range anywhere from Stubs, Bat Skins, Stadium Sounds and more! Gamers also have to be a bit intrigued about the “?” as a possibility of a reward as well.
The hype will continue for just over a week longer as gamers prepare for the latest edition of MLB The Show to hit stores. The official release date for MLB The Show 19 is March 26. MLB The Show 19 is exclusive to PlayStation.
