Already introduced to the MLB The Show 19 legends list so far have been greats Willie Mays, Ty Cobb and Christy Mathewson. That list grew larger when Jason Kendall and Rob Dibble appeared at the end of the newest MLB The Show trailer.
Last week during the GameStop Game Play live stream, the crew announced the addition of slugger Jimmy Foxx, and catcher Pudge Rodriguez. Earlier this week former Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies star Cliff Lee was introduced to the legends group.
Now on to the latest players to grace the name of âlegends!â
Pitching great, long time Braves star join legends
Waler Johnson was known as the âBig Trainâ during his playing career. The 6’1″ hard-throwing right-hander is second on the all-time win list with 417. Johnson only trails Cy Young, who finished his career with 511 victories. Johnson spent his entire two-decade career with the Washington Senators.
The other legend joining the club is outfielder Andruw Jones.
Jones played for the Braves, Dodgers, Rangers, White Sox and Yankees in his career, but without a doubt had his most success in Atlanta.
Jones was a five-time All-Star and won a gold glove ten times while roaming the outfield for the Braves. Both of these choices are great for MLB The Show 10 legends list. We won’t know the full list of legends until MLB The Show 19 hits shelves everywhere on March 26.
