MLB The Show 19: Ozzie Smith, Bob Feller, Hanley Ramirez Added to Signature Series
The latest MLB The Show 19 Signature Series reveal is a big one! So far MLB The Show 19 has announced five additions to the Signature Series this week, with one very special one to come tonight (Thursday, July 25). Right now, we know that The Wizard of Oz, Ozzie Smith, along with Bob Feller and Hanley Ramirez have all been added to the Signature Series.
Ozzie Smith Signature Series
When it comes to the best infielders all-time, Ozzie Smith is right at the top! Best know by his nickname “The Wizard,” Ozzie Smith has made some of the greatest defensive plays ever turned on the field.
Also known for his incredible backflips when first taking the field, Ozzie Smith is one of a kind, that’s for sure! In his 19-year career, Smith was a 15-time All-Star and won 13 Gold Glove Awards. Smith’s OVR is a 97 in the Signature Series.
Bob Feller, Hanley Ramirez Signature Series
Bob Feller and Hanley Ramirez played in two different eras, but their grit and passion are one of the same. Feller was one of the best to ever take the mound. The hard-throwing right-hander won 266 games while striking out over 2500 batters in his 18-year career.
Like Ozzie Smith, Feller is a Hall of Famer who has played in multiple All-Star games. Feller has a perfect 99 OVR on The Show.
Hanley Ramirez hasn’t seen much of the field in 2019, but the 2006 Rookie of the Year still believes he has some game left in him. Ramirez has been a threat at the plate since he broke into the majors. He is just 28 home runs short of 300.
In his 15 seasons, Ramirez has a career average of .289 and has driven in 917 runs. His joins the Signature Series club with a 96 rating.
