The fourth MLB The Show 19 Ranked Season has arrived. Right off the bat, The Show goes for the gusto by revealing a new legend and three new diamond player rewards. Just when you think Ranked Season can’t outdo the previous one, it does.
MLB The Show 19 Ranked Season Legend
Make room for Lefty! Signature Series Lefty Grove (99 OVR) along with a Signature Series Rod Carew (98 OVR) are the new rewards that have been added to the Season 4 World Series choice pack. Grove is the latest to join the Legends category and will surely be a great addition to any gamers collection.
Grove pitched 17 seasons in the majors and finished his career with video game-like numbers. 300 wins, a career ERA of 3.06 and over 2,000 strikeouts are just some of the awesome achievements Grove collected in his Hall of Fame career.
Grove cruised to the MVP award in 1931 when he finished the season with a 31-4 record. He also was a 6-time All-Star, 9-time ERA title winner and 2-time World Series champion in his great career.
If you make it to the World Series ranking, Signature Series Matt Williams and Yadier Molina are also available.
Breakouts, bat skin
Of course, it is also time for some new blood in the Breakout Legend category. Breakout Legend Will Clark and Breakout Flashback Tommy Pham join the Pennant Race choice pack.
Pham is becoming a popular player in Tampa as he looks to return to his MVP-like 2017 season when he was with the St. Louis Cardinals.
