The latest MLB The Show 19 roster update has arrived just in time for Father’s Day weekend. With all the movers this week, it is Atlanta’s Ronald Acuna Jr. that has made the biggest leap as he has jumped from Gold to Diamond.
This roster move shouldn’t surprise many gamers. Acuna Jr. has been a huge reason the Braves are currently in first place in the NL East.
Ronald Acuna Jr. on the rise
The Atlanta Braves are a young team on the rise, and Ronald Acuna Jr. is one of the biggest reasons why. In his last 15 games, Acuna Jr. is hitting at a .338 clip with four home runs and 14 RBI. Remember this folks, he is all of 21-years-old! The sky is the limit for this kid.
Ronald Acuna Jr. moved up from an 84 to an 85 OVR this week, pushing him to the Diamond status.
Five new players strike Gold
While Ronald Acuna Jr. is the only player in this week’s MLB The Show 19 roster mover to jump to Diamond status, five others have made the leap to Gold.
Max Muncy, Mike Moustakas, Jake Odorizzi, Edwin Encarnacion and Kyle Hendricks are all now at Gold status. Of all the five players mentioned, Encarnacion is getting the most attention.
The current American League home run leader was traded to the Yankees on Saturday (June 15) and it is causing a ripple in the AL East. The Yankees are stacked!
Like Hendricks and Muncy, Edwin Encarnacion jumped from a 79 Silver status to an 80 Gold. Mike Moustakas and Jake Odorizzi jumped from 79 to 81.
