The newly released MLB The Show 19 trailer revealed many Easter eggs. Did you catch any of them? If not, don’t worry. The crew at The Show tweeted out a video on Thursday evening to explain some of the methods behind their madness.
From pointing out a few of the new legends to several new perks and other features, MLB The Show 19 looks as if it has a lot of new options to offer. Here is what we know so far.
Road To The Show dominates early
The tribute to the World Champion Red Sox at the start of the video was almost expected. However, after that, it is a mad dash to the finish! The first set of teaser scenes are all from “Road to the Show.”
The first reveal is a new bus for the players to cruise in on the way to the game. A new plane will also be added in 2019.
Next up is a bedroom scene, which almost looks like a dorm room. In this room, you will be able to create your own player from scratch.
Other new additions to Road To The Show are personality growth, relationships, playable workout training, and an all-new in-game feature have been added to the 2019 edition. The creators didn’t get into what that in-game feature was, however, they did say they would give more details later this month.
Other flat out awesome additions include players showing more emotion, both positive and negative. The defense has also vastly improved in MLB The Show 19 compared to the last two editions. One example given was a way you can quickly recover from an error to still make a putout.
Legends grow
Did you notice all of the legends in the MLB The Show 19 trailer? Christy Mathewson, Jason Kendall, Ty Cobb, Rob Dibble, and Willie Mays were revealed in the early video, however, gamers have to wait until the game hits the stores to find out the rest!
As for the Babe Ruth and the Tier Selection screen, that info is still to come! MLB The Show 19 will hit stores everywhere on March 26.
