Could losing Bryce Harper be addition by subtraction? It is way too early to make that assessment, however, the Washington Nationals have an impressive lineup according to MLB The Show 19. When the latest addition hit the open market today, the Nationals had the most players rated 90 or above.
Nationals better in 2019?
The official Twitter page for the Washington Nationals obviously pays attention to MLB The Show. They proved that earlier today when they were excited to break the news that MLB The Show 19 Washington Nationals have the most 90-plus players on their roster.

“MLB The Show 19 dropped today……and we’ve got more 90+ rated players than any other @MLB team.”
Yep. They pay attention to The Show!
The 90-plus players
So just who are the MLB The Show 19 Washington Nationals who rank among the league’s best? First up is Anthony Rendon. Rendon is growing into one of the best third basemen in baseball. This season The Show has him listed at a 90 rating. Last season Rendon hit .308 while smashing 24 home runs.
With Bryce Harper leaving for Philadelphia, Rendon will need to be even more productive for the Nationals to compete in 2019.
The next three MLB The Show Washington Nationals who rank over 90 are all flamethrowers!
Max Scherzer’s rating is a solid 97. You just can’t get much better than that! Scherzer has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the past seven seasons. It looks like that will once again be the case in 2019.

Stephen Strasburg – 90

Following Scherzer are fellow flamethrowers Sean Doolittle and Stephen Strasburg. Doolittle has a player rating of 92, while Strasburg is right on the cusp at 90.
It will be an interesting season for the Nationals, who will start their first season since 2012 without Bryce Harper in the lineup. Maybe MLB The Show 19 knows a bit more than the experts because the Nats once again look strong even without Harper!
