MLB The Show 19 Weekly Challenge: Mookie Betts vs. Brad Hand

The MLB The Show weekly challenge this week will see Cleveland Indians star closer Brad Hand take on Boston Red Sox slugger Mookie Betts. Both players are off to a great start in 2019 and should once again have all-star type seasons.

Brad Hand shining again

Since coming over to the Cleveland Indians from the San Diego Padres, Brad Hand has been great. The hard-throwing lefty is off and running in 2019 and looks to be poised to have his best season yet.

Hand has already collected 13 saves on the season and outside of a few blips, he has been nearly perfect for the Tribe. In 21 innings, Hand has racked up 30 strikeouts, has an ERA of 1.29 and a WHIP of 0.875. You really can’t ask for more from one of your guys coming out of the bullpen!

Mookie Betts on the rise

After a sluggish start, Mookie Betts is back to being the Mookie Betts Boston fans have grown to love. In the past 15 games, Betts is hitting .302 while his slugging percentage is near .500.

With an OPS of .890, Betts is hoping his hot streak can help the Red Sox back on track. The defending World Series champs have been hovering around .500 all season.

While Brad Hand has been lights out for Cleveland, gamers will be hoping to rough up the CPU version of left handed bullpen ace and collect some great prizes!

This week fans will once again be competing for prizes that include MLB authenticated autographs, MLB The Show perks and more.

The prize for first place on this week’s MLB The Show challenge will win a Ken Griffey Jr. autographed baseball. The second place winner will be awarded 30,000 Stubs while third place will earn 25,000 stubs.

You can’t win if you don’t play, so go get those rewards!
