MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty 7th inning program, roster update
With the baseball season in progress, it allows player ratings to go up or down based on real MLB performances. As of Friday’s roster update for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty, a total of four players had moved up enough to qualify as Diamond level.
That includes Colorado Rockies’ right fielder Charlie Blackmon who surged four points to become an 85 overall. As of right now, Blackmon leads all MLB players for batting average at .472 and hits (34). He’s also tied with the Yankees’ Aaron Judge for total RBI at 20. He gained +15 on Contact vs. Right and +17 on Contact vs Left for his player in The Show.
Blackmon is joined by Washington Nationals phenom Juan Soto. The Nats’ left fielder went up two points to become an 85 overall as well. Soto has played in only seven games but boasts a batting average of .423 along with 11 hits, five home runs, and 10 RBI in his appearances.
Two pitchers also became Diamond level with the new roster update. They are the Texas Rangers’ Lance Lynn (85 OVR) and Cincinnati Reds’ Trevor Bauer (85 OVR). Of those aces, Bauer joins his teammate Sonny Gray as a Diamond. Both Lynn and Bauer saw their Hits per 9, Ks per 9, and walks per 9 attributes bumped up just a bit.
