MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty: How to Complete Brandon Phillips 6th Inning Player Program
New content arrived for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty on Tuesday including a brand new Conquest Map and Headliners Pack 40. In addition, there’s a new Player Program available to unlock a Brandon Phillips Diamond card. Here are more details about the new item and how to get it in Diamond Dynasty.
New Brandon Phillips for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty
In addition to the new Headliners packs and Conquest Map, MLB The Show unveiled the new Brandon Phillips 6th Inning Player Program on Tuesday. A special reveal video arrived to show off the former Cincinnati Reds star in action at the plate and fielding. It ends with a quick shot of the front of Phillips’ 93 overall Diamond Gold Glove card.
As one would expect, Phillips has Diamond Hitting and Defense with the card. Key attributes on offense are his 97 Contact Right and 107 Contact Left along with 96 Vision and 105 Clutch. Phillips has 93 Fielding, 85 Accuracy, 77 Arm Strength, and 69 Speed.
Amongst his Quirks are Hitting Machine, 20/20 Vision, Soft Hands, Quick Reflexes, Sniper, and Pressure Cooker.

How to complete the Player Program
Once in MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty mode, gamers need to head over to the Programs and choose “Player Programs.” Brandon Phillips is the first option there. You’ll need to complete a combination of different Missions and Moments to get a total of 50 points. Along the way, you’ll earn rewards including XP, MLB The Show Stubs, and Packs, but 50 points will unlock Phillips.
Here’s a look at what you can choose from to get to 50 points:
Missions:
- Online: Tally Extra Base Hits With Reds Players (five total) +10
- Online: Tally Hits with 2nd basemen (10 total) +10
- Play Vs. CPU: Defeat Reds on All-Star or Higher +8
- Exchange Second Basemen at total value of 10,000 for +5
Moments:
- 30/30 Season (Hit 1 Home Run, Steal 1 Base) +7
- Start of Silver Slugger Season (Tally 3 Hits, Hit 1 HR) +7
- Phillips vs. Cardinals (Tally 5 Hits, Tally 2 XBH) +7
- Dat Dude BP (Tally 5 Total Bases) +7
- 1,000th Career Hit (Tally 2 XBH) +7
- Remember Me? (Hit 1 HR) +7
Each of the above Moments will earn a certain amount of XP and MLB The Show Stubs for completion.
Tip: One path many gamers take is to complete all Moments for a total of 42 points. Next, they’ll play against the Reds on All-Star to get the last eight points to total 50 for this MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty program.
