On Tuesday, a new MLB The Show 20 Jorge Posada Diamond card officially arrived for gamers to add to their lineups. Posada is a five-time All-Star, five-time Silver Slugger, and four-time World Series winner. Now, he’s available through the 2nd Inning Program. Here’s the latest details on his card and how to go about getting him for your Diamond Dynasty team.

Jorge Posada’s Yankees career spanned from 1995 through 2011. It included a total of 1,829 games over 17 years with a .273 batting average, 1,664 hits, 275 home runs, and 1,065 RBI. The four championships were icing on the cake as Posada was on board for memorable Yankees pennant runs.
Now gamers can get a new MLB The Show 20 Jorge Posada Diamond with an 85 overall rating. It features 122 for Plate Discipline, 95 Contact vs. Lefties, 82 Power vs. Right-handed pitchers, and 90 Durability. He’s also got solid defense with 74 Fielding, 77 Arm, and 71 Reaction, amongst his attributes.

It’s a nice card overall. However, only one Quirk comes with Posada with Walker. That means he can excel at drawing walks or when it comes to his check swings.

Earn the MLB The Show 20 Jorge Posada through the Player Upgrade Program. From the main menu scroll over to “Programs” and then choose “Player Programs.” Scroll down to choose Jorge Posada under 2nd Inning.
From there, you’ll enter the Missions and Moments screen for the Jorge Posada program. For Missions, you’ll use your Diamond Dynasty team to achieve specific goals.

- Exchange Catchers +5
- Play vs. CPU: Defeat the Yankees On All-Star Difficulty or Higher +8
Moments are career moments from Posada’s 2000 season and postseason run. You’ll play as Posada and typically have one game to try to achieve them.

- On-Base Machine – Get On Base 9 Times, Hit 1 Home Run +5
- First All-Star Game – Tally 1 Hit +4
- Mariners Masher – Tally 8 Hits, Tally 3 Extra Base Hits +5
- 2000 ALDS – Tally 4 Hits, Tally 2 Extra Base Hits +4
- World Series Champs – Get On Base 9 Times, Tally 1 Extra Base Hit +5
You’ll need a total of 50 Program Points to unlock Jorge Posada. However, you’ll earn other rewards along the way, including Stubs and Live Series Yankees Players.
