Baseball video game fans are getting ready for the newest installment in the popular MLB The Show series. The new game already has a cover star and pre-orders available. As of Tuesday, January 27, there’s also an announcement as far as which players are available as MLB The Show 20 Legacy rewards. There are three solid options available from the past and present who also happen to be the past three MLB The Show cover stars.
MLB The Show 20 Legacy Rewards Players details
Gamers who bought and played the three previous MLB The Show titles are in for a special treat. Anyone who played the 17, 18 or 19 titles gets to choose an MLB The Show 20 Legacy Rewards player. Those players are current Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper, current New York Yankees star Aaron Judge, and former Seattle Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr. as choices.
Here’s the video clip released earlier on MLB The Show’s Twitter page:
All three players have had impressive careers and graced the cover of MLB The Show. It’s still early for two of the baseball stars, as Griffey is already established as one of the all-time greats in the sport. He was the MLB The Show 17 cover star, with Judge on the cover of the 18′ game, and Bryce Harper as the 19′ cover star.
Gamers will receive a Legacy Choice Pack as part of the rewards system for playing MLB The Show 17, 18, or 19. The pack continues two rounds of choices. In the first, gamers get to choose a Gold Legacy of Griffey Jr, Harper, or Judge to use on their Diamond Dynasty team in the game.
The Legacy Choice Pack also includes a choice from four Gold, Live Series Pitchers. In addition, gamers get two Gold equipment items, a Gold Ritual item, and a Gold Sponsorship item.
As of this report, it doesn’t appear gamers will get multiple Legacy Rewards packs for playing more than one or all three of the past three editions of MLB The Show.
