With the big news that MLB The Show 21 will arrive in late April for PlayStation and Xbox systems, they have now allowed gamers to sign up to test out aspects of the game. MLB The Show 21 Technical Test sign-ups are underway, but there’s limited time left to get involved. However, the video reveals a major aspect is being worked on ahead of the baseball simulation game’s release.

MLB The Show 21 Technical Test Sign-Ups video reveals major features

When MLB The Show 21 cover star and release date arrived several weeks ago, a big revelation arrived. This will officially be the first version of the baseball video game available on Xbox. Now there’s even more reason to be hyped for the new game’s release on April 20.

According to Ramon in the new MLB The Show 21 Technical Test Sign-Ups video (below), both cross-platform and cross-generational play will be part of the new game. That means gamers will be able to compete with their friends and other baseball gamers no matter what system and generation they’re playing the game on.

The game will be available for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and next-gen PS5, as well as Microsoft’s Xbox One and next-gen Xbox Series X/S consoles. So that opens up a lot of possibilities that have never been featured before with the San Diego Studios game.

How to sign up for the game testing

Ahead of the game’s official release date, MLB The Show 21 Technical Testing was announced. Individuals interested in participating can still sign up. Simply head to the Tech Test page here, read over the Test Agreement, and click on Agree. Then, select your current or next-gen platform.

Those who selected an Xbox One, Series X, or Series S console will go to the Microsoft Live log-in page and enter appropriate account credentials, then log in to complete the registration.
