Call of Duty: Mobile may only have been available for close to three weeks, but Activision is already launching its first major event; Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween. This event is currently live now, and will remain so until the 25th of November, giving fans a full month to experience it. During the Halloween event, players can get new cosmetics and play on spooky map variants, among other things.
The Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween Event
Although the Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween event is the game’s first-ever event, Activision isn’t starting small. Indeed, the month-long event offers fans plenty of new content, even though the game has been available for less than a month. First up, anybody who logs into the game during the event will get the Arctic .50 sniper rifle with Bat Camo, purely as an incentive reward. Additionally, as players play the game during the event, they’ll collect Pumpkin ID Cards. These can be used to acquire special event cosmetics, including weapon skins and new Battle Royale parachutes.
There are also new items available in the game’s shop and Lucky Draw. These include new soldier skins and weapons with the new Zombie Green Camo. There’s also a new Operator Skill for players to try out called Sparrow; a weapon from both Black Ops 3 and 4. This compound bow fires “powerful blasting arrows,” and gains an increasing range boost the longer players draw the bow for. To unlock the Sparrow, players will need to complete tasks in Multiplayer and Battle Royale to earn points which can be spent unlocking it.
Additionally, the event features several Halloween-themed map variant for Standoff, a map from Black Ops 2. “For a limited time, you can experience Standoff in the dead of night,” explains Activision; “weaving through the streets lined with jack-o-lanterns and eerie orange lights”. All of this and more, as stated above, is currently available in-game. The Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween event will be live until the 25th of November, in just over one month’s time.
