The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode has been heavily rumored and highly anticipated over the last weeks. With three enticing story chapters spread across different eras and settings, it’s only natural for fans to can’t wait to play it. however, this is not all there is to this mode as Treyarch’s Jason Blundel teased.
Treyarch’s Co-Studio Head and Senior Executive Producer, Jason Blundel and Lead Writer Craig Houston were missing from last night’s Black Ops 4 live stream. One reason behind that is that the issue of the live stream was the multiplayer mode of the game, however Blundel revealed another one.
As he stated, him and Houston are working on a “very special” project regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode and we shall be learning more about it through social media soon. In a related blog post, he stated:
With IX, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of The Dead all on disc, the whole team at Treyarch is proud to be giving you more day one Zombies content than any game in our history.
Sorry that Craig and I couldn’t join you for today’s livestream – but we missed it for good reason. We’re currently on the road, working on a very special project that we’ll reveal a little further down the line. While Craig has to remain in ‘Blighty’ for a little while longer, I’m happy to say that I will be back in LA to appear at E3 on a special Zombies panel.
Be sure to keep an eye on Treyarch’s social channels for tune-in details.
Lately, we were able to find out more information about the story behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies through a series of rumor posts. Sure, they are rumors, but that’s the way most news go out over the last months. We expect to be able to confirm or debunk the rumors at the Sony conference at E3 2018 in a few days.
