There’s nothing more exciting than knowing that Mortal Kombat is still going strong after all these years. The announcement of a new entry in the series is definitely something that a lot of players got excited about. Now that the bloody combat will be open on April 23, Ed Boon decided to spark more interest toward the game by revealing Mortal Kombat 11’s cover art.
Mortal Kombat 11 Cover Art Revealed by Ed Boon
Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat and the director of the current game, has shared the MK11’s cover art through Twitter. Unsurprisingly, the Mortal Kombat 11 cover features Scorpion doing a cool pose.

Of course, we also know that Ed Boon is a bit of a troll considering how he laughed at a supposed leak. However, the director also responded to the skepticism brought by some fans by saying that this is actually the real deal.
I know right? No….that is real art. #TheBoonWhoCriedWolf https://t.co/Qa42RDTzQ3

The director also reminded gamers of the date of the Mortal Kombat 11 presentation in an unorthodox way. This time it wasn’t any sort of announcement, rather it was an invite unboxing made by Brian Tong. The invitation shows that “The Reveal” event will happen on January 17, 2019 at Los Angeles, California.

We expect to hear more details about the game’s combat mechanics once January 17 comes. There is also another presentation scheduled to happen at London on the same date which will also feature the world’s first hands-on event. So lucky attendees will be able to play the game firsthand.
