With the launch of Season 4 Reloaded, Call of Duty Zombies fans have a lot of new content to sink their teeth into. Alongside the brand-new map, Mauer der Toten, the mode has gotten a new Perk; Mule Kick. This classic perk has a rather… trigger-happy… new vending machine, and lets players carry around more guns than normal.
Black Ops Cold War Zombies – The Mule Kick Perk
The Mule Kick Perk makes its return to Call of Duty Zombies in Black Ops Cold War today, as part of the Season 4 Reloaded update. This Perk-a-Cola can be found at its own special vending machine in the new Mauer der Toten maps. While you won’t see these gun-toting machines in the older maps or Outbreak, Mule Kick will still be available from their Der Wunderfizz machines.
The primary purpose of the Mule Kick Perk is to let players carry three weapons rather than two. This makes it perfect for players tackling a Zombies map solo, though it’s also useful for squads who want to pack a wider assortment of firearms. Of course, as with other Perks, Mule Kick also offers a range of more minor benefits if upgrades with Raw Aetherium. These are as follows:
- Tier I – Crafted Equipment grants an additional equipment. This means that whenever you visit the bench to spend Salvage, you’ll get two pieces of Equipment rather than one. This upgrade is ideal for players who like to have plenty of grenades on hand.
- Tier II – All enemies have chance to drop ammo. Relatively self-explanatory, this trait means that any enemy could drop ammo. Previously, this would only occur in the Outbreak mode.
- Tier III – Stowed weapons slowly refill automatically. When any of your weapons are stowed, this upgrade will cause them to slowly reload themselves. This is ideal if you don’t have Speed Cola to rely on in tense situations; simply swap to one of your other two weapons and let your empty clip refill on its own. Note that the bullets will still drain from your available stock – they won’t reload out of thin air!
- Tier IV – 25% chance to keep non-retrievable equipment when used. With this upgrade, whenever you throw a grenade or use a similar piece of equipment, there’s a 1-in-4 chance that it won’t be used up. Note that this doesn’t apply to C4 or the Tomahawk.
- Tier V – Your 3rd Primary Weapon is recovered upon repurchase. The final upgrade for Mule Kick is great for getting back on your feet quickly. If you lose Mule Kick, you’ll also lose your third weapon. However, with the Tier V upgrade, you’ll automatically get that weapon back once you repurchase the Perk.
