Last week, Creative Assembly released their first new trailer of 2019, titled ‘A Hero’s Journey.’ The new trailer gave fans their first in-game look at Zhuge Liang, the legendary Chinese strategist, as well as the impressive vistas of the game’s setting. Now, the studio has made the music used in that trailer free to download, the first release for the Total War: Three Kingdom’s soundtrack.
If you loved the music from yesterday's A Hero's Journey trailer, now's your chance to grab it for yourself – it's available to download from Total War Access: https://t.co/9vCLe6p0EW pic.twitter.com/eWhS3LaOiy

A Hero’s Journey: First Release for the Total War: Three Kingdoms Soundtrack
Announced the day after the release of the trailer; Creative Assembly has made the music from the trailer available to download on Total War Access. For those who are unfamiliar, Total War Access is a free service available on the official Total War website. It serves as a hub for Creative Assembly to post messages to their fans, along with free downloads like wallpapers and music. For example, towards the end of 2018, the studio made the Tattered Sails Shanty from the Curse of the Vampire Coast trailer free to download on Total War Access.
To get access to the music from the trailer, you’ll need to sign up to Total War Access. As stated above, this is completely free. Once you’ve signed up, you can go to your Total War Access dashboard; there, you can see all the content available for download. The most recent should be the music from ‘A Hero’s Journey.’
The ‘A Hero’s Journey,’ track is the first track to be released from the upcoming Total War: Three Kingdoms soundtrack. Fans have heard some of this epic, sweeping score in other trailers and gameplay videos. However, much of it still remains under wraps. Moreover, none of the soundtrack has been released on its own until now. Fans probably won’t be able to get their hands on the complete soundtrack until after the game releases on the 7th of March.
