NBA 2K League Draft 2019 Details: Date, Time, & How To Watch Live Stream Online
The NBA 2K League Draft 2019 edition is ready to bring the best gamers to competitive teams. The 2K League’s big event goes forth on Tuesday. There are gamers from all over the world with a number of different countries which have international players who qualified too. There are also close to 200 gamers vying for spots in the league. However, only a certain number of spots will be available for them to fill.
NBA 2K League Draft 2019 to help 21 teams fill rosters
The NBA 2K League Draft 2019 brings a total of 198 gamers to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. That’s normally the home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, but on Tuesday it will provide the location for 21 teams to complete their six-person rosters. That means the original 198 gamers will yield just 74 gamers who are selected by teams.
Those 198 players consist of 144 brand new players. They became draft-eligible when the 2K League selected them after “an extensive tryout process.” There are 48 players that were “unretained” from the 2K League’s inaugural season. In addition, there are six players who emerged from the APAC Invitational in Hong Kong this past February.
In addition to eligible players from the United States, this year’s draft pool also features 22 international players. Those 22 players are from Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, and the United Kingdom. NBA 2K League 2019 Draft order, how to watch
There’s a total of four rounds for the 2019 draft. Ahead of the event, there was an NBA 2K League Draft Lottery to determine the order teams will select in. The No. 1 pick in this year’s draft belongs to Jazz Gaming. The Warriors Gaming Squad and Kings Gaming Squad are second and third, respectively.
