The NBA 2K League Finals 2019 edition are under a week away and two deserving teams will compete for the title. Either 76ers GC or T-Wolves Gaming is going to hoist the championship trophy for the 2K League’s second season. Ahead of the matchup, betting odds have arrived and point to a clear favorite in the best-of-five series.
NBA 2K League Finals 2019 odds, how they work
The grand finale of the NBA 2K League season and playoffs will be an intriguing finals matchup. 76ers GC finished No. 3 in the standings with an 11-5 record. However, T-Wolves Gaming has played admirably in just their first season. They achieved the No. 4 spot with a record of 10-6 for their campaign.
Both teams are coming off impressive series wins too. The Celtics Crossover Gaming team looked tough to beat behind MVP candidate oFAB, until they took on 76ers GC Friday night. It took the 76ers squad just two games to win the best-of-three series. In the other semifinals matchup results, T-Wolves Gaming advanced past a Warriors team that previously won two other tournaments including The Ticket to qualify for the playoffs.
The 76ers GC head into the NBA 2K League Finals 2019 as favorites, based on the latest odds from Pinnacle.
At -521 odds to win the series right now, that means it would require $521 bet on the 76ers GC to return a profit of $100, if they win it. On the other side, a $100 bet on T-Wolves Gaming could win $333, if they pull off the upset.
It’s worth noting that Blazer5 was a -500 favorite in their first-round NBA 2K League Playoffs odds. However, they were upset in that matchup by Warriors Gaming. The No. 2 seed Mavs were also a favorite and lost to underdog Celtics Crossover Gaming. Therefore, being the favorite may not matter as much as the betting odds suggest here.
76ers GC may have the edge based on their MVP candidate Radiant. During the past season, he was No. 4 in points per game with 20 and No. 3 in assists with 11.1 a game.
