In recent NBA games, fans have probably noticed the unique jerseys players were wearing. They featured unique color patterns, some of which are becoming popular for fans to find. While many fans are rockin’ these styles in real life, they’re also making their way into the video game world. Here’s a look at the NBA 2K19 City jerseys that have recently made their way into the award-nominated basketball game.
NBA 2K19 City Jerseys: Lakers’ LeBron James, Players of the Week
On Tuesday night, the NBA 2K Twitter account revealed that three of the star players’ City jerseys from the past week that are at the NBA Store. They include LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers who is doing “LeBron” things once again this season. As seen below, he’s wearing the cool Lakers “old school” style jersey that his team featured this season. LeBron is the NBA 2K19 Anniversary Edition cover athlete and is averaging 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per contest.

In addition to LeBron James’ Lakers look, there is also an NBA 2K19 City Jersey for Anthony Davis. The New Orleans Pelicans star won the NBA Player of the Week for the Western Conference. Davis is putting up monster numbers this season. The “Unibrow” is averaging 27.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, and nearly five assists per game. It’s been mention by various basketball stats sites that when Davis is on the court his impact is felt with a +10.7 net rating for the Pelicans (per Hoops Rumors).
Also available is the Statement Jersey for Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic. Statement Edition uniforms arrived as of 2017 and were a way for teams to “make a bold statement” when they were out on the court. One can certainly say that Vucevic did just that by earning the NBA Player of the Week award in the East. He helped Orlando go 3-1 over the week ending November 18 with 27.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, four assists, and 1.3 steals per game.

There are other NBA 2K19 City jerseys that fans will want to use within the game. The NBA 2K Twitter has been showing off some of the other looks and asking fans to rate them. They include Charlotte’s “Buzz City,” the Philadelphia Sixers, Brooklyn Nets, and the cool Minnesota Timberwolves City jersey below. It’s a highly unique look for the Wolves complete with a hot pink/purple trim and stylish font. Many fans are liking that one in particular but others think the Miami Heat’s “Miami Vice” look takes the prize.

The NBA 2K19 city jerseys revealed on the Twitter account have been a tease for fans, though. Many gamers are demanding that 2K add these to MyCareer, MyLeague, or Neighborhood feature in the game. Until then, gamers will be patiently waiting. For now, the jerseys on display above and others are great to pick up at NBA Store and use where available.
