NBA 2K19 MyTeam Brings Vince Carter Signature Series Cards, Suns & Heat Throwback Packs
Throughout the 2018-19 NBA season, plenty of headlines have arrived involving the elder statesmen of the league. They include Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki and Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade. Both are multiple-time All-Stars, NBA champions, and set to ride off into retirement once this season ends. Meanwhile, another elder player in the league will play at least one more season. The NBA 2K19 MyTeam mode is now boasting Vince Carter Signature Series packs in honor of “Half-Man, Half-Amazing.”
NBA 2K19 MyTeam: Vince Carter Signature Series packs
On Thursday, NBA 2K19 MyTeam teased the new Vince Carter Signature Series packs on their Twitter with a promotional hype video. It showed off the virtual VC in action on the court, throwing down vicious dunks. It goes back to Carter’s heyday when he was a daily fixture on the ESPN “SportsCenter” highlights. He can still get some air these days, but as his career continues to wind down, it’s best to honor his younger self on the NBA 2K courts. They did the same with Dwyane Wade Signature Series, to honor the legend.

The new Vince Carter Signature Series packs are now available in the NBA 2K MyTeam Pack Market. There are two different versions of a Signature Series Pink Diamond Vince in the new packs. In addition, gamers can find versions of Vince from the New Jersey Nets (Diamond) and Orlando Magic (Ruby).

- Diamond Signature Series – Nets 95 OVR
- Amethyst Throwback Elite – Raptors 92 OVR

A single pack will cost 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT. For 10 packs, it goes up to 67,500 VC, and 20 packs will cost you 135,000 VC. Still, for a chance to grab a prime edition of Vince Carter, it seems worth the price of the packs.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam: Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat Throwbacks
Vince Carter played for plenty of teams during his lengthy NBA career but the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat were not amongst them, yet. That said, the latest NBA 2K19 MyTeam Throwback packs feature the Suns and Heat with some of their all-time greats. Among the players advertised are Miami Heat All-Star Tim Hardaway, as well as the Suns’ tandem of Amare Stoudamire and Shawn “The Matrix” Marion.

The new Throwback packs start at 5,625 Virtual Currency or 6,000 MT for a single pack (1 player with 4 items). From there they go up to 7,500 VC/10,500 for a Standard pack featuring a guaranteed Suns or Heat Throwback player. You can purchase up to a 20 pack box for 101,250 VC featuring a chance of a throwback player in each pack. For the big spenders, there’s the ultimate 168,750 VC deal to get 20 packs with a chance at pulling up to two Heat or Suns Throwback players.
