NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments Packs Arrive With Pink Diamond Lou Williams, Amethyst D.J. Augustin
The NBA scene has quickly moved from the regular season to the postseason. Just like the regular season games, there will be some memorable moments or performances happening during the NBA Playoffs. Some of them have already occurred and thanks to new NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments packs, there are some great new player cards available.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments Packs now available
On Tuesday, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam folks blessed basketball gamers with the announcement of Playoffs Moments packs. They’re now available for purchase over at the MyTeam Pack Market. A hype video (below) helped to deliver the big news and showed off highlights of NBA 2K playoff stars or teams in action.
The new Playoffs Moments packs start in price at 6,500 Virtual Currency or 9,500 MT for a single pack of five cards. To get 10 packs will require 58,500 VC and 20 packs will cost 117,000. They’ll each bring a shot at the limited time Playoffs Moments players which have started to arrive.
Lou Williams, D.J. Augustin amongst NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoff Moments cards
To start things off, NBA 2K19 MyTeam put out the “first batch” of these Playoff Moments cards. Among the players you’ll find in packs are those who were mostly part of recent winning efforts. Leading the way are a 96 Pink Diamond Lou Williams and 94 Diamond Jimmy Butler. There are also three Amethyst Playoff Moments cards including a 82 Montrezl Harrell (Clippers), 90 DJ Augustin (Magic), and 90 Enes Kanter (Blazers).
While all of these cards are great, that Louis Williams seems like the crown jewel so far. He’s become known as the elite sixth man of the NBA and continues to prove that on a nightly basis. He did it again in his team’s recent victory.
Both Williams and Harrell were instrumental in the Clippers’ stunning comeback win against the Golden State Warriors in Game 2. Williams finished with 36 points and 11 assists off the bench. Harrell also came off the bench to record 25 points and 10 boards in the 135-131 win.
The other three Playoffs Moments players are also deserving. Philadelphia bounced back to tie their series with the Nets after a 145-123 win on Monday. Butler wasn’t a huge factor in the Game 2 victory, but he showed up in Game 1 for sure. He finished that game with 36 points to lead the Sixers in a losing effort.
Kanter recorded a huge double-double of 20 points and 18 boards in the Blazers’ first playoff win in three years. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic got 25 points including a huge three-pointer from Augustin to upset the Toronto Raptors in Game 1. Those are just five players so far as there are a lot of postseason games left to go!
