NBA 2K19 Winter Madness preview on 2KTV with Rachel Demita
Former Houston Rockets star and current NBA on TNT analyst Kenny “The Jet” Smith was on Episode 15 for 2KTV. Before Smith even chats in the video, there’s an intro featuring the Winter Madness promotion. It’s a new promotion for the NBA 2K19 Neighborhood aspect of the game. There’s going to be 250,000 in Virtual Currency given out to MVPs throughout the promotion. That’s a nice chunk of VC to use on all sorts of things in NBA 2K19!
Kenny Smith has plenty to say about the NBA 2K19 game as he’s provided his voice and character in the game. As seen below, the NBA 2KTV episode also features a familiar face and fan favorite. Former 2KTV host Rachel DeMita couldn’t stay away as she’s back for the new installment! Check out the full episode via the YouTube video below.
NBA 2K19 Winter Madness announced with new Neighborhood events
During the video, the 2KTV emcee runs down the upcoming events in the Neighborhood scout report. They’ll include Dime Time from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. PST on Sunday (Dec. 16), a Free Throw tournament on Wednesday (Dec. 19) 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and next week’s Winter Madness. The promotion begins on Saturday, December 22 and will end Sunday, December 30.
They indicate that multiple events are going on for those days and “the scout will be watching.” That will help gamers potentially win those MVP awards that bring a cool 250K in 2K19 VC! They don’t mention how many MVPs there are going to be but the emcee specifics “winners” so it will be multiple gamers. That’s quite some incentive to get into the Neighborhood and enjoy the holiday event next week.
