As the suspended season continues, NBA 2K20 MyTeam continues to give gamers new content to use in the popular basketball game. That includes updating the available players in different packs and boxes such as the NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs. As of Monday (Mar. 30), they dropped new Galaxy Opal, Pink Diamond, and Diamond players that gamers can add to MyTeam rosters.
Who’s new in NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs?
Following in the footsteps of the recent Spotlight Sim and Fan Favorites packs are new Buzzer Beater players. Two brand new Galaxy Opal player cards highlight the latest content drop. First up is a Jamal Crawford GO item which brings 11 Gold and 40 Hall of Fame Badges. Among the HOF offerings are Volume Shooter, Acrobat, Dimer, Clamps, and Ice In Veins.
Patrick Ewing is a Knicks legend, one of the best big men to never win an NBA title, Hall of Famer, and certainly deserving of a Galaxy Opal in MyTeam. His Buzzer Beater GO features 12 Gold and 41 Hall of Fame Badges including the likes of Brick Wall, Rim Protector, and Clamps.
Joining them are the 97 OVR Pink Diamond Brandon Roy and 95 OVR Diamond Klay Thompson. Here’s a look at the official release video:
Buzzer Beater packs start at 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a pack of five cards. A box of 10 packs goes for 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box is 135,000 VC. There are also auction listings that are currently underway for all of the player cards.
On the Auction listings, Galaxy Opal Crawford cards are going for between 172,000 and 236,000 MT. The Galaxy Opal Ewing cards are getting a bit more, with prices reaching as high as 262,000 MT on the PS4 listings, as of this report.
There are plenty of other center options in MyTeam including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, and others. So that may mean Ewing isnโt the type of player most gamers want right about now. The video below brings a review of the new item for your consideration.
