NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs Return With Galaxy Opal Kevin Love, Mitch Richmond to MyTeam

A pair of Galaxy Opal cards arrive with the latest NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs in MyTeam. Gamers will be able to add Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love as well as multiple-time All-Star Mitch Richmond to their lineups. In addition, there are several other players with new cards unveiled. Here are all of the latest details on the new content release.

Kevin Love, Mitch Richmond lead way for NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs

So far, the best card we’ve seen for Kevin Love is his 95 overall Prime V.I.P. item. For Mitch Richmond, his best item was the 98 OVR Pink Diamond Rewards card available in the game. Now, both of these players have much better cards with new Galaxy Opals in the NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs.

With Kevin Love, MyTeam fans will get a solid power forward/center option. Love is 6-foot-10 with mostly good shooting attributes, although Driving Layup is an 84. Love also checks in with just a B+ on perimeter, whereas a player like Ben Simmons has an A+ grade.

Love also has 22 Gold and 41 Hall of Fame Badges including popular options such as Difficult Shots, Pick & Popper, Brick Wall, Volume Shooter, Deadeye, Box, and Dimer.

For the Mitch Richmond, his GO item brings gamers a 6-foot-5 shooting guard/small forward with plenty of skills. Mitch may not be much of a rebounder or defensive star on a roster, though. However, his GO includes 14 Gold and 40 HOF Badges with Ankle Breaker, Floor General, Pick Dodger, and Clamps among them.

Limited-time players available in Buzzer Beater packs:

  • Kevin Love (Cavaliers) Galaxy Opal
  • Mitch Richmond (Kings) Galaxy Opal
  • Sam Cassell (Timberwolves) Pink Diamond – 98 OVR
  • Dennis Scott (Magic) Diamond – 95 OVR

Where to find the new cards in MyTeam

The NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs make their return to the MyTeam Market. A basic pack of five items starts at a cost of 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT. A 10-pack box is 67,500 VC and a 20-pack box will cost 135,000 VC.

Gamers can also bring their MT to the Auction area of MyTeam. However, prices can get quite high for Galaxy Opals. Just recently we saw that with the new Steve Francis Galaxy Opal. We’ve also seen that with many of the GO player cards on the Dynamic Duos list here.

Prices on the PlayStation 4 for Kevin Love’s GO card were anywhere from 200,000 to 331,550 MT. Mitch Richmond’s item was selling for 135,000 MT to 270,000 MT as of this report. Meanwhile, the PD Cassell had listings from 34,000 to 100,000 MT while Diamond Scott was going for under 40,000 with about an hour and 45 minutes to go on most listings.
